Oregon Wines
MY FRIENDS,
Having the opportunity of growing up in Florence, Italy and Paris, France gives me a unique view of Wine as an American. As a Musician and Painter, I still love the Tuscany Region especially around Brunello. While in Italy I compose my music in San Gimignano. The European old world wine will always be fantastic, but now the Oregon Wine Industry is producing Incredible world-class Pinot Noir.
For over 30 years, I have lived in the Pacific Northwest. The first winery I every visited was Ponzi. Since that time, over 300 Wineries have appeared in Oregon. My love of Oregon Pinot has inspired my Music & Art. I love them all!!
My next compositional journey involves visiting as many wineries as possible in Oregon and composing a new piece of original music for each winery. Many will have Live Concerts. The final sequence will be with the Symphony Orchestra with thematic music from all the winery compositions. This will also include the world's best jazz musicians. All proceeds from any and all performances go directly towards Music Education in the Oregon Public Schools.
